What is the biodiesel?
Biodiesel is the name of an alternative fuel of clean burn produced from domestic renewable resources.
Biodiesel Process
The biodiesel is done with a chemical process called transesterification in which the glycerin is separated from the fats and vegetal oil.
What are the resulting products?
The process generates two products - Metil esters (biodiesel chemical name) and the glycerin, as sub product sold to be used in soaps and other cosmetic products.
Where is used in?
The biodiesel can be used in ignition - compression engines with a few or none modifications.
What are the biodiesel components?
The biodiesel does not have petroleum, but can be mixed in any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend.
The single alternative fuel that can be used directly in any diesel motor without any modification is the biodiesel.

Odin Energy Corporation is an investor company in the energy sector, incorporated under the laws of Panama in April 2007, engaged to the production and distribution of biodiesel, as well as petroleum products and soon, also biofuels mixes to use in diesel engines.

Odin Energy Corporation is the majority shareholder of Odin Grupo de Energía S.A., a Colombian Corporate Group which controls the refineries’s operations of Odin Petroil S.A. and Odin Energy Santa Marta Corporation S.A., located in Santa Marta, Colombia. Its headquarter is Jasb Group, Japanese company constituted in 1988, which has an operational management office in New York, United States - Jasb of New York Corp - since 1996.

Odin Energy Corporation’s main function is to finance the acquisition of raw material required to the production of biodiesel and petroleum derivatives of its refineries in Colombia; at the same time, the company develops an important project that consist in the construction of a mixing unit diesel-biodiesel, to produce biofuels in different notation, as B5, B15, B20, B50, among others, where the number indicates the biodiesel percentage present in the blending.

The company is an entity supervised by the National Securities Commission of Panama, since October 2009 when was held the registration of its cumulative preferred stock, currently is listing on the Stock Exchange of the country mentioned, offering cumulative preferred stock and common stock.
