What is the biodiesel?
Biodiesel is the name of an alternative fuel of clean burn produced from domestic renewable resources.
Biodiesel Process
The biodiesel is done with a chemical process called transesterification in which the glycerin is separated from the fats and vegetal oil.
What are the resulting products?
The process generates two products - Metil esters (biodiesel chemical name) and the glycerin, as sub product sold to be used in soaps and other cosmetic products.
Where is used in?
The biodiesel can be used in ignition - compression engines with a few or none modifications.
What are the biodiesel components?
The biodiesel does not have petroleum, but can be mixed in any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend.
The single alternative fuel that can be used directly in any diesel motor without any modification is the biodiesel.

Odin Petroleum Colombia S.A.S., through which are developed production and sale energy operations. Odin Grupo de Energía S.A. is international backed by its headquarter Odin Energy Corporation a company registered under the law of Panama, supervised by the Securities Exchange Commissions of Panama and which is listing in the Stock market of that country offering cumulative preferred shares and common shares.

Odin Energy Corporation was founded in 2007 and started operations in 2008; emerged because of the necessity of the Business Group to create a company that will engage to get the palm oil required to the biodiesel production performed by Odin Energy Santa Marta Corporation and the crude which is refined by Odin Petroil S.A. to obtain fuels such as the Marine Diesel, IFO 180, IFO 380, Naphtha and Fuel Oil.

Operates under a commercial certificate given by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Panama; however, its production hub is located in Santa Marta, Colombia, where the primary activity will be to function as an energy company established to produce biofuels to use them in diesel engines; in this context, the strategy promises be innovating because this company is one the pioneers in the regional market to produce biofuels.

Obtained the approval of the Securities Exchange Commission of Panama in October of 2009 and is listing in the Panama Stock Exchange since December of 2009 offering cumulative preferred shares.
